In this second part of our Climate Change lecture series, we’ll delve deeper into the underlying issues within our oceans: warming, acidification, and anoxia, and how this trio impacts the sea. How do we know it is humans causing the temperature increase? We’ll take a look at multiple “fingerprints” leading back to human involvement. Join Troy Schinkel, Instructor of Geological Sciences at Central Connecticut State University and currently part of the Master Naturalist Program at Goodwin Forest, as he walks us through the how, what and why’s of our changing planet.
