Join us for a Geology walk on the trails of the Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center

Payment can be made in the Visitor’s Center before the program begins on the scheduled date.
Explore the geological formations at the Barnes Nature Center with Troy Schinkel, Instructor of Earth and Environmental Science at Central Connecticut State University and is currently part of the Master Naturalist Program at Goodwin Forest.
Participants will hike and explore the hidden glacial features around the trails of BNC. We’ll see an esker and a kettle hole and compare glacial sediments to river sediments.
