Hike Description
Hike trails of the 70‘s 80‘s and 2020‘s on land managed by the Environmental Learning
Center of Connecticut. The hike is 2.4 miles long with 450 up and down vertical feet. We will experience significant sections of the five different trails located on their new map.
Discover the Pigeon Hill Preserve which opened last year on Earth Day saving the land
from a mining operation and development. Also discover the fully Accessible Nature Trail,
which is the first in CT and should be dedicated on Earth Day of this year.

What you need for the hike
Wear hiking boots or shoes. Hiking poles are strongly advised since we will make the climb up and
down the tall esker twice. Carry water & snacks if you’d like

Please keep your “furever” friends at home.

Pre-registration is suggested.
