DESCRIPTION:Tying knots are essential in daily activities for everyone. Thi
 s workshop covers basic rope terminology\, parts of the rope\, and compone
 nts of knot and lashings. We will also be demonstrating about 10 different
  knots and lashings from a first person's point of view.\n\nAfter completi
 ng this tutorial workshop\, with practice and some creativity\, students w
 ill be able to combine different knots and lashings to suit their needs. S
 tudents will also be able to build upon what they've learned here in order
  to suit their needs in life\, and on any adventure.\n\nFee: $10 non-membe
 r/$8 Member\nThis program is for ages 12 and up (Children must be accompan
 ied by a paying adult).\nRegistration is required here.\n\nThis program wi
 ll take place at the Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center from 10am to 1
