Nightlife Viewing: Bats
Join Naturalist John Correia on an evening walk this Wednesday at the Harry C. Barnes Memorial Nature Center. Meet at the first covered shelter at the start of the Wallace Barnes Accessible Nature Trail. We’ll see if we can spot a few in the slightly warmer evening temperatures.
Using the field shelter on the Wallace Barnes Accessible Nature Trail, Nightlife Viewing: Bats, offers a glimpse into the often over-looked world of these nocturnal creatures. We invite you to slow down, tune in, and join us in a discussion on how these animals are uniquely adapted to thrive in the dark.
This program takes place outside, please dress appropriately.
