Land Stewardship

Volunteer Land Stewardship Monitoring Program

The Volunteer Land Stewardship Monitoring Program is a collaborative effort between ELCCT and the Burlington Land Trust (BLT) to actively engage community members in the stewardship and protection of local open spaces. Volunteers will be trained to monitor and assess the condition of conserved lands, helping ensure these natural areas remain protected and aligned with the conservation goals of both organizations.

This program is ideal for individuals who are passionate about environmental conservation, land management, and ecological stewardship. Through a combination of in-person training sessions and hands-on fieldwork, volunteers will develop essential skills in navigation, data collection, and environmental monitoring.
